Based on a bio-psycho-social-spiritual framework, its therapeutic value comes from the way it addresses an individual as a whole rather than a system of parts. It reinforces salutogenesis, a health based model focused on creating wellbeing.
A yoga therapy session is personalised to suit the individual’s needs.
Contrary to popular perception it is not a 1:1 personalised yoga class. It is a present centred co-creative session of enquiry into the deeper layers of your body to explore what is being held within the areas of tension, pain or restriction. The intention being to bring more coherence to your energetic field through release and integrating any arising wisdom into daily life to create a longer lasting change.
Sheetal offers 1:1 yoga therapy sessions and holds workshops for small groups exploring a common theme.
